Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's Wedding Invitations Revealed!

Read this article we found:

Clear your calendars. We're officially invited to Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's wedding!
The Bachelor couple, who first met on the ABC dating series in 2012, released their official invitations this weekend that capture the twosome's personality and sense of humor.
The invitations include "the LOWEdown on "marrying, eating, boogie-ing" all night long. The card goes on to say, "Together with their families, Sean Thomas Lowe will marry his best friend, Catherine Ligaya Mejia Giudici, who completely adores him."
Designed by Smitten on Paper, the creative RSVP cards also allow guests to declare whether they "can't wait" to be there or have "something more important to attend than celebrating the union of Sean & Catherine."
The couple is expected to have a million-dollar wedding that will be broadcast live on ABC next month. According to a source, Lowe and Giudici are getting paid a six-figure sum to walk down the aisle in front of fans.
"The Bachelor is such a cool experience because people at home feel like they know us and they're invested in our relationship," Lowe said when announcing the televised wedding. "We have no problem sharing the actual wedding with everyone who has been with us so far."
Before the couple says "I do" on the small screen, the lovebirds are still finding time to celebrate their engagement.

How to Pick Your Wedding Dress

Picking a wedding dress is one of the most important parts of planning a wedding.  Your wedding dress should fit your personality and your body perfectly.  Some brides choose to go beyond tradition and play with color and pattern in their dress choices, while others choose a classic look.  Strapless gowns are extremely classic and flatter almost all body types.  As a wedding planner in Los Angeles (http://myelitewedding.com/simple/) I know firsthand how difficult it can be to pick a wedding dress.  Read this blog post for some advice:

5 Reasons to Start Wedding Planning This Holiday Season

Read this article we found:

The holidays are upon us! With all of the impending chaos that the season brings, here are some reasons you should start planning your wedding now and claim some of the most sought-after vendors before the holidays pass by. It's never too soon to start planning.
1. You'll beat the bridal rush.
With future fiancés preparing to pop the question over the holiday season, engagement ring sales experience a boost in December. Thus the rush to the best vendors is next! All of the essential people -- from the coordinator to the photographer -- who will make your big day go off without a hitch are filling up their calendars with consultations and wedding dates. Holiday season tends to be a slower time of year for wedding professionals, so it's a great time to set up appointments for wedding gowns and flowers to ensure you get your pick before the rush and avoid competition.
2. It's the perfect time to tell family.
What better time to announce your engagement than when the family is all together? Many brides prefer to opt out of making the big announcement via their favorite social media sites and instead wait to announce the good news to their friends and families in person. Go against the grain and hold off a bit longer to surprise your loved ones with the news in person this holiday season. Also, take note of those who offer to help you with the wedding. Whether it is the day of the wedding and you need an extra hand or months in advance and you need help with a project, call them up! Delegating tasks can be difficult, but will help you out and be a wonderful way to include everyone in the celebration of your marriage.

The Hottest Décor Trends for Summer 2013

Check out this article we found:

The biggest wedding season, June through September, is right around the corner. We asked celebrity event expert Brian Worley, co-owner of Your BASH! Event Production, for his take on what the hottest trends (no pun intended) will be for summer celebrations. Brian has not only created weddings for Hollywood celebrities, but he’s also hosted a number of TV shows including WE tv’s Platinum Weddings and TLC’s Battle of the Wedding Designer.

Here are Brian’s top three trends:

1. Go Bright: Summer weddings will encompass bright colors using various hues of green and bold jewel tones such as emerald, which is the color for 2013. Outdoor weddings will pull upon vibrant colors to act as natural electricity rather than lots of bright lighting.

Wedding Themes and Style Inspiration

Check out this article we found:

Choosing a wedding theme is a great way to create a cohesive look and feel at your event. It's important to select a theme early on in the planning process as it will help guide your various fashion and wedding style decisions. A strong theme is also helpful for your wedding vendors as they come up with ideas for your cake, flowers, and menu. Your theme could be something as simple as the phrase "classic elegance" or something far more complex. Browse these wedding themes to see if any of them feel like the right sort of wedding for you, then use them as a launching pad for your own fête.

Weddings by Style
Even if you don't know exactly what your wedding should look like, you probably have a good idea of how you want it to feel. Do you love dressing up for a fancy party? Then a formal, black-tie wedding might be the right fit for you. Are you more at home munching some good BBQ and sipping a nice, cold beer? A casual wedding is probably more your speed. You don't need to have a super-fancy wedding if that doesn't reflect your personal style—some brides today even wear sneakers!

Seasonal and Holiday Weddings
Many couples look to incorporate seasonal touches into their wedding day. Doing so helps take some of the guesswork out of planning: the flowers, color palette, and other decor ideas are dictated by the time of year. Be sure to keep your location in mind when deciding on your wedding date--if your wedding location routinely gets a few feet of snow every December, perhaps a winter wedding isn't the best idea!

Holiday-themed weddings are nice option for a fun-loving couple. However, its easy for a holiday wedding to cross over the line from chic to cheesey. Remember to practice restraint with the decor, stationery and favors: this is a wedding, not a child's birthday party.

Popular Trends: Green Weddings

For any engaged couple, their wedding is a ceremony to express their love for each other. Lately, this special event has become a showcase for the couple's style. Wedding themes are a very popular way to do this. One especially popular theme right now is going green. Many couples want to show their concern for our planet, and this is the perfect way to do so. Many wedding vendors offer eco friendly versions to their normal products or services sold.
